Dear Customer,
We are writing to inform you that your VPS has been rebooted in rescue mode. This means that your server has booted on a temporary Linux operating system. This temporary operating system is not the one that is pre-installed on your VPS.
To make the necessary changes and log in to this temporary operating system, we recommend connecting to your VPS (vps-e3bbba1d.vps.ovh.ca) via SSH with the following settings:
- IPv4 address : 139.99.44.189 ;
- Username : root ;
You will need to generate your password via this link:
https://www.ovh.com/manager/secret/#?id=fe427715-cded-4e7e-9aaa-bd98d99158ed
This link is valid for 30 days following receipt of this email. Once the link is opened, the validity period will be reduced to 7 days.
You can now carry out the maintenance operations required to recover your VPS:
- check and disable your firewall if required
- back up or restore your data
- check and update your network configuration files
If you think you have identified the cause of the problem and want to reboot your VPS on your regular operating system, you will need to configure your VPS's netboot on the hard disk (normal mode).
